Welcome to the Vineyard Church Old League City web page. We’re glad you found our site. We are a young church just starting out in the Old League City area. We are a group of neighbors who are practicing learning to follow Jesus together.

We believe God deeply loves everyone and desires for us all to have life to the full. We believe He has uniquely created each of us with skills, talents, hopes, and dreams to be lived out through relationship with Him and others, locally and globally.*splitbreak*

So that’s what we’re trying to do. We’re trying to learn how to work, play, create, love, serve, give, etc . . . from Jesus. Hopefully we find ourselves ordering our lives around His vision and that this is good for everyone.

We meet on Sunday Evenings from 5 to 6:30 in The Ecclessia Building, 218 Clear Creek Ave., League City, 77573. People begin showing up around 4:45 pm and there is usually some light food and coffee to share.

Our kids join us for worship before heading to their own time creating, playing, and learning about Jesus’ love. We have 3 classes for our kids; Nursery, PreSchool, and Elementary. Our youth join us in the main gathering and have a midweek meeting of their own.

If you are interested in finding out more about us and our Sunday gathering please send us an email or give us a call (281.338.2239).

Our typical Sunday starts with a time of catching up with one another. People usually begin showing up around 4:45 and bring some light food to share, there’s coffee and tea, and we spend some time in conversation with each other before things kick off at 5.
From there we move into a time of community announcements. The rest of our evening consists of times of contemplation, teaching, sharing, worship, and sharing the Eucharist together.

Any given week we might spend more or less time in any one of these areas. Sometimes our evenings focus heavily on learning from the scriptures, other times the focus is on various forms of contemplation, or an evening focused primarily on thanksgiving and worship.

Hopefully by the end of the evening we have experienced a time of connecting with God and connecting with each other.
